Motivational Programme

Dr.C.Sylendra Babu, IPS, Director General of Police –Railways, Tamil Nadu.A large group
of enthusiastic youngsters gathered together to hear the speech of Dr C. Sylendra Babu
IPS, themost renowned IPS officer from Tamil Nadu. He was invited as the distinguished
guest for the Induction Programme to motivate the students. He emphasized on the 5C‟s,
Compassion, Curiosity, Communication, Critical Thinking and Cooperation that is most
important for the career of students.

SHORT FILM

The Department organized a Motivational Short

Film “கற்றவை கற்றபின்”. This short film

exposed the students to a range of real-world
issues and allows students to connect to
innovations and inspiration from sources beyond
their immediate environment.

SIGARAM THODU

The Department along with SKCET Alumni Association and Rotary Club of Coimbatore East
– RI District 3201 jointly organized A Life Guidance Programme for the first-year students –
SIGARAM THODU. Mr.A.Rathinaswamy, Founder & Chief Mentor, MIDNA Global and
Dr.P.R.Muthusamy, Director (Academics), Dr.NGP Educational Institutions were the guests
of the day. The guest reiterated the importance of soft skills and efficient communication. He
suggested an approach to look towards Eagle vision to being focused at work to see the big
picture.
