Ethical & Sustainable Engagement at SKCET

SKCET committed to operate in an ethical and sustainable manner while considering the impact of their activities on society and the environment. Our students actively participate in various social activities regularly to operate in an economically, socially, and environmentally sustainable manner while balancing the interests of various stakeholders. These activities instill ethical values, imbibe a sense of social responsibility, and strive for the societal well-being of the students.

SKCET UYIR Club has bagged the “Best Volunteering College award”. Sri.V.Balakrishnan, Commissioner of Police, Coimbatore city presented the award and appreciation certificates to the volunteers on 10.01.2024 at Commissioner of police office.

UYIR Club of SKCET has conducted drawing competition to the students of Government girls higher secondary school, Thondamuthur on the theme “Road safety” on 07.12.2023. Students showcased their talents and best drawings were awarded prizes.

National service scheme of SKCET has celebrated International Yoga Day at the campus on 21st June 2023. Students were given an insight on the importance of yoga in our daily life by Ms.Sripriya, Yoga Trainer, Coimbatore.

National service scheme of SKCET whole heartedly embraced the significance of celebrating Yoga by organizing an exclusive session for the faculty members to raise awareness about the numerous benefits of Yoga and its positive impact.

UYIR Club Volunteers of SKCET along with Coimbatore City Police participated in the diwali traffic regulation at big bazaar street from 03.11.2023 to 10.11.2023. The volunteers educated the public by giving short messages on the benefits of wearing helmets ,seat belts and obeying traffic rules.

Kovai fiesta 2023 is ideated, planned, and executed by the SKCET NSS Volunteers. The objective of this event is to provide a dynamic learning platform on marketing skills to students and cater an unforgettable shopping experience to its audience.

National service scheme of SKCET has organized Medical camp at Attapadi Village, Coimbatore. Basic medical examinations were conducted to the beneficiaries at the venue.

A rally on “Awareness about fitness “was organized by National service scheme of SKCET. NSS Volunteers inspired the public people by giving valuable messages about the importance of fitness in daily life

SKCET has been awarded certificate of appreciation for taking part in “Drug free kovai” campaign organized by Coimbatore city police and park institutions.
