Established in 2002 with an intake of 24 students, our Master of Engineering (M.E.) in Structural Engineering program has maintained an unwavering commitment to cultivating advanced knowledge and skills in Structural Engineering principles, computational techniques, and innovative design methodologies. At the heart of our program lies a robust dedication to research, empowering students to explore cutting-edge advancements and contribute meaningfully to the field’s evolving body of knowledge. Structural Engineering Lab

The Structural Engineering Laboratory of the Department of Civil Engineering at SKCET is one of the best structural engineering laboratories in Coimbatore. The laboratory serves a varied range of activities covering those related to teaching, research, development and consultancy. The main activities include experimental studies on model/prototype of structural elements and assemblies under various static and dynamic loading conditions. The Structural Engineering Laboratory also offers technical services for testing and research on the structural behavior and properties of materials.
