Sri Krishna College of Engineering and Technology (SKCET) feels proud to launch M.Tech Computer Science and Engineering (5 year integrated) Programme in association with Virtusa Corporation. SKCET is the only chosen Autonomous Institution to sign the MoU with Virtusa for offering this course. The Curriculum & Syllabi are designed in such a way that it meets the requirements of the industry and make the students industry ready. Practical sessions are included along with theoretical concepts to enrich the student’s knowledge.

Department Highlights

  • Virtusa customized curriculum with thrust on full stack engineering.
  • Curriculum covers the cutting edge technology in IT field such as Big Data Analytics, Internet of Things, Design Thinking, Block Chain Technology, Cloud Computing, Mobile Application Development, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Virtual Reality.
  • Students are also exposed to banking and insurance domains
    The Programme provides 360°opportunity to the students as a full stack developer, analyst and creative thinker.
  • Students will work on live projects in Virtusa’s Centre of Excellence (CoE) laboratory established at Sri Krishna College of Engineering and Technology campus.
  • One year internship programme at Virtusa.
  • Faculty will undergo Trainer certification program at Virtusa in order to impart exemplary knowledge to the students.
  • Lecture sessions by Virtusa experts on emerging paradigms.

  • M.Tech Computer Science and Engineering is a 5 years integrated programme powered by Virtusa Corporation. The objective of this academic collaboration is to bridge the gap between Academia and Industry and mould the students as thorough IT professionals when they step out of our Institution. The curriculum and syllabi is well designed by the team of experts from our institution and Virtusa to meets the requirements of the industry and make the students industry ready. Practical sessions are included along with theoretical concepts to enrich the student’s knowledge. The vision is to produce technologically adept, innovative professionals with human values who will serve as a valuable resource for industry and society. The mission are to empower the students with excellence in cutting edge technology for a challenging professional career, to impart moral, ethical values and interpersonal skills to the students, to facilitate the academic industry collaborations and societal outreach programmes.
  • Students will work on live projects in Virtusa’s Centre of Excellence (CoE) laboratory established at Sri Krishna College of Engineering and Technology. Students will be provided with a long term internship in the final year at Virtusa. Scheduled visits to the college by domain experts from Virtusa would help the Teaching – Learning process as well as expedite meaningful interaction with the students.

Computer Science Engineering Graduates will be able to:

PO1 – Engineering knowledge: Apply the knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals, and an engineering specialization to the solution of complex engineering problems.

PO2 – Problem analysis: Identify, formulate, review research literature, and analyse complex engineering problems reaching substantiated conclusions using first principles of mathematics, natural sciences, and engineering sciences.

PO3 – Design/development of solutions: Design solutions for complex engineering problems and design system components or processes that meet the specified needs with appropriate consideration for the public health and safety, and the cultural, societal, and environmental considerations.

PO4 – Conduct investigations of complex problems: Use research-based knowledge and research methods including design of experiments, analysis and interpretation of data, and synthesis of the information to provide valid conclusions.

PO5 – Modern tool usage: Create, select, and apply appropriate techniques, resources, and modern engineering and IT tools including prediction and modeling to complex engineering activities with an understanding of the limitations.

PO6 – The engineer and society: Apply reasoning informed by the contextual knowledge to assess societal, health, safety, legal and cultural issues and the consequent responsibilities relevant to the professional engineering practice.

PO7 – Environment and sustainability: Understand the impact of the professional engineering solutions in societal and environmental contexts, and demonstrate the knowledge of, and need for sustainable development.

PO8 – Ethics: Apply ethical principles and commit to professional ethics and responsibilities and norms of the engineering practice.
