  • Our Department has 8 Government funded projects, which improves the research performance by building a critical mass of researchers who would develop a distinctive portfolio of high-quality discovery, and applied and commercial research.
    Our students are constantly exploring and unleashing their technical spirits by enthusiastic participation and winning in various National and International Level Hackathons.

M.E. Computer Science And Engineering

About

Computer Science Engineers apply the principles of computer science and mathematical analysis to the design, development, testing and evaluation of the software systems. The department of CSE was established in the year 1998. The department holds one U.G. Degree Programme- B.E.Computer Science and Engineering and two P.G. Degree Programmes namely M.E. Computer Science and Engineering and M.E. Software Engineering. The total sanctioned intake of the CSE department is 180 students, which is empowered by 51 faculty. The Department is recognised by Anna University as a Research Centre and has successfully produced 14 Ph.D. scholars. Amazon, ZOHO, Fourkites, Informatica, Sirius, Codingmart, Hashed In, Zilker, Coviam, Odessa, Kaar, Virtusa, Intain, Value Labs, Astrazeneca, Gain insights, Aspire Systems, Vedantu, Atlas, Freshworks, Accenture, Infoview, WIPRO, Athena Health Care, Skill Lync and Tech Mahindra Ltd, are some of the prominent placement companies that visit our campus offering a good package. Entrepreneurship Development Cell and IO Club are active clubs of the department and students are encouraged to be a part of professional bodies like IEEE, ISTE,IEEE Computer Society (IEEECS), Computing Research Association and American Mathematical Society. Computer Science Engineers are offered various roles in the industry as Database Analysts, Web Developers, Mobile Applications Developer, Software Testing, Business Intelligence Analyst, Data Architect, System Engineer and Information Technology Manager.Computer Science is an exciting, challenging and growing field that impacts the world and everyday life in countless ways.
